Swedfund’s Complaints Mechanisms

Swedfund whistleblowing services and a complaints mechanism.

Swedfund’s whistleblowing service can be used by employees, contractors and others at Swedfund, and by the companies and funds in which Swedfund invests.

The complaints mechanism can be used for all types of complaints concerning Swedfund and Swedfund’s portfolio companies, but not for complaints concerning individuals as a result of restrictions arising from data protection legislation.

Whistleblowing channels

Our whistleblowing channels are encrypted web solutions leading to a closed system provided by a third party. They are not intended to replace internal information and reporting channels but, rather, simply serve as a supplement to them.                 

External channels
In the external whistleblower channel, you can anonymously report suspicions of serious irregularities relating to Swedfund or Swedfund’s portfolio companies or persons in central or leading positions within Swedfund or Swedfund’s portfolio companies.

If you intend to submit a report, you should first read the additional information available in Swedfund's Guidelines for External Whistleblowing and in Swedfund's Privacy Guidelines for External Whistleblowing (see documents listed below).

Internal channels
Employees, contractors, interns, consultants and board members, etc., who work directly for Swedfund may use Swedfund’s internal whistleblowing channel in order to report irregularities as set forth in the documents Swedfund's Guidelines for Internal Whistleblowing and in Swedfund's Privacy Guidelines for Internal Whistleblowing (see documents listed below).

Grievance Mechanism

The grievance mechanism may be used to report any type of complaint and draw attention to problems relating to Swedfund or Swedfund’s portfolio companies. However, due to applicable data protection legislation, it cannot be used in respect of individuals. Anonymous reports are also subject to this limitation.                     

Individuals and groups who are exposed to risks associated with, or influence from, Swedfund, our portfolio companies, or their representatives may file a complaint by sending an e-mail to grievances@Swedfund.se.

If you intend to file a complaint, we ask that you first read through the additional information found in Swedfund's Grievance Mechanism - Guidelines. 

When you file a complaint, you should avoid sharing information which contains personal data regarding anyone other than yourself. In the event this requirement is not met, Swedfund may refuse to accept the complaint since Swedfund might lack permission to process the personal data in the complaint due to applicable data protection legislation.
